Menu V9 is nearly here!

Though the good old British weather might not be as glorious in autumn, it’s still undoubtedly one of our favourite seasons!

After all, what better excuse do you need for tucking into proper hearty, comfort food than the crisp October air?

With the Goose Fair coming back to good old Notts this Wednesday and our brand new main menu being released on that day too, there really is no better time to get yourself over to the city centre, to enjoy some proper family shenanigans!

Our main menu is full of hearty dishes but still has plenty to offer to those who fancy something a tad lighter, instead.

If hearty takes your fancy, then how about trying out one of our new pies? Our ‘George’s meets Geordie Saveloy Dip Pie’ is full of slices of saveloy sausage layered in a crisp pastry case with George’s traditional mushy peas, pork-sage and onion stuffing and our own onion gravy topped with a caramelised onion crumble. Served with twice cooked chips, a side of homemade onion gravy and a pot of Newkie Brown salt, this is our twist on a traditional Geordie pie!

If however, you fancy something lighter, then maybe our Lemon Herb Grilled Chicken Skewers, marinated in our own lemon herb rub, skewered with vine tomatoes and confit mushrooms, will satisfy your cravings.

Whatever it is that you fancy tucking into over at ours, you can guarantee that one of our splendid gins will the most blooming marvellous of tipples to wash it down with!
