George’s Leeds shortlisted for Best British Restaurant Award30th January 2019
We are absolutely chuffed to bits at being shortlisted in this years prestigious Yorkshire Evening Post Oliver Awards in the category of ‘Best British Restaurant’ (What else?!)
We couldn’t wait to open our doors in Leeds nearly 2 years ago, in such a thriving ‘Foodie’ City it is an honour to sit amongst such a varied and exciting bunch of restaurants. We are proud of our family ethos, values and our non stop commitment to give our guests the best possible experience every time you dine with us.
We work super hard with our Food Innovation Chef, Duncan Poyser, at continually pushing boundaries in the creation of our signature quirky twists to classic British dishes and always using the very best quality ingredients.
On top of featuring in the ‘Best British’ Category, we are also nominated in the new ‘People’s Choice’ award. As the YEP says “This award highlights family restaurants, nominated by readers for their unwavering commitment to making sure every member of a group, no matter what their age, is catered for when they come to eat”
To be recognised for what we do is a huge honour and we would be over the moon if you could support us with a vote in the Peoples Choice Award right here
We wish all finalists the very best of luck and look forward to the celebrations!
